Norman has studied snowy owls since the early 1980s. Most of his work has focused on Logan Airport in Boston, where he’s relocated as many as 153 owls in a single winter.
He's also one of the co-founders of Project SNOWstorm, a research organization using scientific innovation to enhance our understanding of snowy owls' complex movements and inform their conservation for future generations.
